Les nombres en lettres
This educational illustrated card project was created at the request of an elementary school teacher who was looking for a fun way to help her students remember how numbers are spelled out in words.
We first worked together to identify the sounds and letters that were most difficult for each number from 1 to 100. I then developed short stories in the form of mnemonic phrases, which I later illustrated by hand, to make the learning process easier and more engaging for children.
The game consists of 22 cards that can be combined to form certain numbers (e.g. 28 = card 20 + card 8). Each card was also adapted into a classroom poster, designed to remain visible and serve as an everyday learning aid.
